Safety Training

The rental industry is all about convenience and availability – making sure you have the right tool at the right time to get the job done.

Jobsite safety depends on understanding how to use your rented machine before you put it to work. You may be using a rental while your regular machine is being repaired or for an activity that is not part of your everyday job. In any case, it is crucial that you know the machine’s operational capacities and other safety topics. Safety videos, toolbox talks and safety checklists available for download, as well as online training provided by Customer Safety Services, can help ensure you get the job done safely and on time – every time. For machine specific information, consult the Operation & Maintenance Manual (OMM) and bookmark SAFETY.CAT.COMTM.
Puckett Rents is committed to everyone’s safety so don’t hesitate to contact a Puckett Rents representative when you have questions or concerns.

Aerial Work Platform and Telehandler Operator Safety Training

Puckett Rents provides aerial work platform and telehandler operator safety training in our office or at your site. Call to speak with one of our trainers today.

This course is designed to qualify operators in the safe use of a Genie Aerial Work Platform or Telehandler. The course is delivered using a curriculum that combines both formal and hands-on training. Both OSHA and ANSI require that every operator be trained and authorized prior to operating either of these machines. Please note that this program does not qualify the trainee to instruct operator safety training courses.

Please contact a Genie Dealer in your area to assist in your training needs.

Aerial Work Platform Train the Trainer Course

This course is designed to provide a qualified operator additional helpful training techniques and information that can improve their ability to deliver a successful Genie Operator Training Course. After having completed the Train-the Trainer course, the trainee’s employer should determine if they are then qualified, as defined by criteria set forth in OSHA and ANSI, to train other trainers or operators.
